Hi! I’m M.

I’m a first-generation Japanese-American graphic designer based in San Francisco specializing in brand identity, systems, and campaign design. My work visually resides within the intersection of Art and Design, aiming for aesthetics with attention to usability, accessibility, and an element of fun.

I grew up in a multicultural environment, going to an international school in Japan and later Waldorf school on Oʻahu, constantly exposed to different cultures and styles where I found inspiration from Japanese manga illustrations, bold colors, and the culture of storytelling in Hawaiʻi. I believe in design and its potential to educate and connect people.
